C O M Technical information Informations techniques ■ SAFETY REGULATIONS A wood cutter is considered a dangerous tool, due to it’s positive cutting angles, sharp cutting edges, and high working speeds. In this way we recommend: Before placing the tool on the machine: As the manufacturer protects the tools against transport damages, also the user should have maximum care with the han- dling of the tool. The placement of the tools in a hard base my cause small cracks or even complete breakage of the cutting edge. 1. The tool and it’s fitting on the machine should be very well cleaned. 2. The assembly and placement of the tool should only be made using precision grind spacers. Also assure that the fitting between the tool bore and the spindle is dirt free, in order to allow a smooth fitting of the tool in the spindle. 3. Assure that all the clamping screws that se- cure the knives are well tighten. 4. Check that the tool has all of the cutting edges in perfect conditions. 5. Control the sense of rotation. 6. Compare the rotations admitted on the tool with the one’s selected on the machine, ad- just accordingly. All the equipment’s should have the proper protections, according with the applied law. Use the proper protection for each type of job. ■ During use 1. Control the wear of the tool. 2. During the cut, chips of wood together with resin, are glued in the cutting edges. This will cause the reduction of the cutting angle, causing the diminishing of the capacity to remove the chips and consequently increasing the cutting effort. Wszystkie śruby montażowe powinny być dobrze dokręcone. 4. Upewnić się, że żadne z ostrzy nie jest usz- kodzone. 5. Sprawdzić kierunek obrotów. 6. Zweryfikować czy obroty narzędzia są takie same jak obroty maszyny. Upewnić się, że zamontowane są wszystkie osłony. ■ W trakcie pracy: 1. Należy kontrolować zużycie narzędzia. 2. Podczas cięcia wióry przylegają do narzędzia i mogą utrudniać obróbkę, dlatego należy regularnie czyścić narzędzie.
