From 24 - 26 October, Frezite will be returning to FIMAP – International Fair of Machines, Accessories and Services for the Woodworking, Silviculture, Forestry and Biomass Industries. The company will be exhibiting its solutions at the 22nd edition of the fair, which will be held at Exponor in Porto, reinforcing its commitment to the Portuguese industry, which it has adopted since it was founded. The 46th edition of the 2024 Roller Hockey World Championship took place between 16 and 22 September in Novara, Italy. Frezite was once again associated with this competition, in a sport where its tools are present, not only in the manufacture of the technical flooring, but also in the production of the sticks. Through television broadcasts to several countries, our brand is now closely associated with roller hockey at the highest level of the sport. Since 2017, this biannual event has been organised by World Skate and is part of the World Skating Games

Inaugurated in 1995, Frezite's tool and service production unit in Trofa (Portugal) is now equipped with an air conditioning system. To solve the high temperatures in the production area, an air conditioning system has been in operation since July. This investment has improved the thermal comfort of the production staff at Frezite's Wood & Composites Division.

In line with its growth strategy in the Mexican market, Frezite exhibited at Tecno Mueble Internacional. The trade fair specializes in machinery, raw materials and accessories for the furniture manufacturing, woodworking, and wood processing industries, and is held annually in Mexico. After making its debut at the previous edition, the company presented its most innovative products for milling and cutting wood, at a booth that received a lot of praise from visitors to the Guadalajara Exhibition Centre. The event took place between 14 and 17 August, with the presence of the sales team in Mexico, in yet another successful participation that consolidated Frezite's image in that market.

The presentation of the São Miguel 02 (SM02), a hydrogen-powered boat prototype developed this year, took place in June and is already making headlines. The Técnico Solar Boat team - made up of students from different engineering courses at Lisbon's Instituto Superior Técnico, who specialize in building boats powered by renewable energy - finished in second place in the competition held at the Yacht Club of Monaco. The partnership with Frezite, which supplies tools for this project, began four years ago and was renewed as the team and the company share the ambitious goals of innovation for a sustainable future. The Portuguese team was the only one to take part in both the Energy and Solar classes at the same time, coming second with the São Rafael 03, standing out among the 48 participants from 25 countries. Frezite Brasil's participation in the 10th edition of Formóbile exceeded expectations, and it was a proud moment to be one of the main highlights at the event, which took place between 2-5 July at the São Paulo Expo. The exhibition provided an opportunity for us to present our high technology and performance solutions, which were very popular with visitors. Built using reusable materials and covering 75 sqm, Frezite's booth was awarded the Bronze level for its commitment to a sustainable environment. The distinction was awarded by Informa Markets' Better Stands program, which seeks to eliminate the generation of waste from booths. In 2024, Formóbile consolidated its position as the leading trade fair for the furniture sector in Latin America, with more than 50,000 visitors and 550 exhibiting brands, in an event full of news, trends, networking and business.

The partnership dates to 2020, with support for this challenging project that promotes mobility and sustainability. This was the third prototype developed by the team of Técnico Solar Boat students using composite materials and Frezite tools in its design. The presentation of the hydrogen-powered boat prototype, the São Miguel 02 (SM02), took place on 12 June in the Salão Nobre of the Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon. In the June edition of BM magazine an article entitled 'Efficient Machining' (page 60) was published, highlighting the range of tools presented by Frezite as a reliable supplier of high-performance machining solutions. BM is the magazine specializing in furniture and interior design, component production, assembly, and sales. Operating in the German-speaking countries (DACH), BM serves as a source of up-to-date and competent information for carpenters and joiners and is the best-selling subscription magazine in this field. Several towns are still isolated in Rio Grande do Sul following the heavy rains and flooding that impacted the neighboring state of Santa Catarina, where Frezite Brazil has been established since 2000. Aware of the tragic events affecting the people of Rio Grande do Sul, Frezite Brazil employees have joined forces to help those impacted by the floods. The challenge launched at the company was to gather non-perishable food, clothing, personal hygiene products and pet food. Donations from employees have already been delivered so that help can quickly reach those who need it most.

Frezite took part in the 40th edition of Fimma-Maderália, an event dedicated to materials, technology, components, machines and tools for furniture, carpentry, interior design, and projects. This brought together more than 900 exhibitors from 25 countries and welcomed more than 35,000 visitors to Valencia between 14 and 17 May. A regular presence at the show, Frezite exhibited some of its latest products, as well as a strengthened sales team for the challenges facing the Iberian market. The next edition of Fimma-Maderália is scheduled for 2026.

From 14 - 17 May 2024, Frezite will be exhibiting its products and solutions at FIMMA+Maderália, an event in which it has been a regular participant for more than a decade. The biennial event, a benchmark for professionals in the carpentry, machinery, architecture, interior design, and contract projects, is holding its 40th edition. The European technology fair for woodworking machinery, equipment and accessories started on 19 March in Nüremberg, Germany. This was Frezite's first direct participation in the event, as it was organised previously by GOLD Werkzeugefabrik GmbH. The event, which took place soon after the rebranding announcement, served as an opportunity for the GOLD sales team to present the Frezite brand advantages to the German market.

GOLD Werkzeugefabrik GmbH, which was acquired by Frezite in 2014, will now operate in the German-speaking markets (DACH) under the Frezite brand. The change has been communicated to GOLD Werkzeuge's customers in a bid to strengthen its market position with a more complete range of tools and accessories. Frezite will be exhibiting at Holz-Handwerk 2024 - European Trade Fair for Machine Technology, Equipment and Supplies for the Wood Crafts. From 19 to 22 March in Nuremberg, presents the latest trends and innovations for the wood and wood processing sector - from sawing and grinding machines to woodworking machines or extraction systems, at one of the most important events for carpenters and joiners in Europe. Since the beginning of January, Frezite's website has been available in six languages. The decision was taken to strengthen the brand's commitment to the German market. The company has been doing business with German customers for many years, a country where the Frezite group has its own companies. On 20 December, the team from Frezite's Metal Division met with all the employees to balance the year. The Wood Division team did the same on 5 January, after returning from holiday. These are moments to summarize and evaluate the year that has just ended, but also to align the Frezite Portugal team with the objectives set for 2024. The teams are already working on the new challenges.
